Our program serves children age 3 to 6 years old and 7 to 14 years old.
Preschool, Kindergarten, Homeschool Enrichment and Summer Camps.
Before You Enroll Make Sure We Are The Right Fit For Your Family!
The program operates Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM spanning from September to June. We are a year-round day camp! Summer Camps in May, July and August.
We offer Spanish Immersion Fridays from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM with extended hours 2pm to 4pm.
Homeschoolers in Nature from 9:30am to 2pm Mondays. Drop off Field Trips on some Fridays for Homeschoolers.
We Are A Year Round Day Camp Program From September to June
Children need time and space to explore the world. Time to know what they want instead of wanting what adults want. When adults micromanage children’s childhood, they lose their satisfaction for life, which is why child-led activities are so important in the early years. At Kidwings they will experience real-life while they develop healthy boundaries in a nurturing environment. Small adventures, wilderness walks, mindfulness exercises, exposure to a new language, moments of silence or screaming, or moments of loneliness or safe spaces to express emotions, all these experiences along with clear and well-established limits, help the child gain confidence and independence.

Arrival9:35am We have our welcome circle. Through songs, morning movement (Yoga Moves are basic Asanas, sun salute and animals poses) children will be connected to the season, and experience an opportunity to stretch their bodies. Mindful moment that mark the intention for the day and Gratitude Circle.
10:15am
Snack, we learn the fruit and the veggie of the week in Spanish10:35am We venture into our wilderness exploration a nature walk to collect things from nature. Free play outside offers many opportunities for connection with the natural world around them, and opportunities for negotiation, teamwork, and investigation.
11:15am
Water, bathroom and Sunscreen break if needed11:35am Main Activity , Group Games, learning, Free Play and Crafts

Location
We are a nomadic- style school, we rotate locations every day within the San Diego City Central Area. Students can explore a variety of local, natural places. Children are exposed to a diversity of environments, structures, materials, and challenges as they engage in activities in locations throughout San Diego such as parks, farms, community gardens, and historic places. Pick-ups and drop-offs vary everyday depending on the location.
Some Locations:
- Different Parks and open spaces within San Diego Central, no more than 18 miles from Downtown SD
- Around Balboa Park, Old Town, North Park, College Area, and Tierrasanta among others
- Local Beaches
- Lakes
- Canyons and more…
