Serves Children Ages 6 - 12
Our curriculum is deeply rooted in nature, focusing on project-based learning that encourages students to take the lead in their own educational journey. Through hands-on experiences, students learn about the environment, wildlife, and the importance of sustainable living.
We embrace the wilderness as our classroom, offering students the opportunity to explore various locations throughout San Diego. From tide pools to hiking trails, each location presents a unique learning opportunity.
Beyond academics, we emphasize the development of practical life skills that empower children to become self-reliant and resourceful. Skills such as cooking, gardening, natural building, and crafting are woven into the fabric of our program.
Students will become botanists in their own right as they learn to identify and appreciate the diverse plant life that surrounds them. This knowledge fosters a deep connection with the environment and an understanding of the critical role plants play in our ecosystem.
